Toni and I love story began back in 8th grade. Our moms were friends and met up at Big Boy in Paw Paw. When I first met Toni there, she was on crutches—and from that moment on, something just clicked. There was even a time I helped her with her math homework… and let’s just say I didn’t do a very good job. 😂We shared so many fun memories early on—summer days swimming at Hemlock Lake, rocking out to Nickelback when Toni took me to driver’s training, and even me teaching her how to do doughnuts in her Mercury during the winter. The summer of 2009, we spent a lot of time together, but for reasons we didn’t understand then, life pulled us apart.Years later, in 2021, life had other plans and brought us back together. We had a lot of catching up to do, and somehow it felt like no time had passed at all. Since then, we’ve made so many incredible memories—ice fishing, salmon fishing, hunting whenever we can, sneaking away for a pizza and a boat launch date, and most importantly, falling in love with each other’s children and watching them grow. We became a true team, and life felt pretty perfect.Then in December 2024, just before Christmas, with all of our kids there, he popped the question. I was so surprised I could barely speak—but I couldn’t wait to say yes. Who would have thought the man I’d always had a crush on would become my husband?We can’t wait to celebrate our love story with all of you and begin this next beautiful chapter of our lives together.
